Canterbury based electrical contractors with a combined 40+ years’ experience in all electrical services. DATT is a family-run business based out of both Rolleston and Rangiora, which provides us great coverage to be responsive to the needs of our customers across the Canterbury area.

At DATT Electrical Services, we make sure your needs come first and offer a variety of quality services. Our main goal is to take care of everything from the very beginning, bringing you results you were looking for at the end.

Our team delivers all aspects of electrical work from residential new builds; renovations; commercial new builds; maintenance; office fit outs; shop fit outs and lighting designs plus much more. We also supply, install and maintain heat pumps and security systems.

Matt Gregg

Born and raised in Canterbury, Matt has 15+ years in the electrical industry. After completing his electrical apprenticeship he spent time overseas before returning to Christchurch. Since then he has gained experience as a tradesman on site and being a site foreman on large commercial projects, right through to estimating.

Outside of work Matt enjoys family time and everything that comes with it, from supporting his kids on the sports field to exploring somewhere new in the weekends and on holidays. When time allows he is partial to a round of golf or a walk up in the hills.

Dave Cuttiford

Moved from the UK 15 years ago and has been working in the Christchurch electrical industry ever since. Worked on, supervised, project managed and priced just about every commercial and domestic electrical installation there is.

Outside of work Dave enjoys sports and coaches his sons football team. Unlike Matt, Dave has promised never to set foot on a golf course ever again.
